Personal Profile

Scott Offermann was born in February of 1966 in Paterson, New Jersey.  His family moved to Marietta, Georgia where he lived until age 7.

He relocated to Wichita, Kansas where he completed elementary and middle school, and his freshman year of high school.

After his freshman year of high school in Wichita he relocated to Joppa Town, Maryland.

While living in Maryland he achieved his goal of living on a sailboat in the Chesapeake Bay for several years. 

During the time he was living on the sailboat he met his wife. 

After deciding to get married and become responsible adults, they decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona and relocated to Mesa in 1995.

He continues to live in Mesa with his wife and two children who are currently in college and a very spoiled family dog.  They enjoy outdoor activities and traveling.

Scott Offermann is a professional Global Facility Manager with over 30 years of experience and is regarded as a Subject Matter Expert in Critical Environments and Facilities Management.   

Critical Environments experience includes managing nearly 500,000 square feet of raised floor data center space, distribution, manufacturing, lab environments, emergency power plants, primary substations, building infrastructure, and business critical operations (such as call center and customer facing areas).  He provides technical guidance, strategic insight, and support for client teams with data centers, call centers, high-tech facilities, and manufacturing facilities.

An executive level manager with experience in creating and maintaining long term asset plans that include operational and capital expenses achieve budget management and supporting the needs of the customer. With strong experience in contract management, procurement and vendor management.  Experience in directly managing large and diverse a delivery team of ~450 employees and dedicated services providers teams that are distributed geographically.   

He began his facilities management career in 1978 as an assistant to the facility manager of a small private school in Wichita, Kansas.  Over the course of his career he has provided facilities expertise across all sectors of business, obtaining the designation of Certified Facility Manger in 1998.  In addition, he is a recognized expert in energy management having also earning Certified Energy Manager designation.  His global experience includes managing delivery teams of 450 employees and dedicated service providers in 45 countries. 

His career has allowed him to travel the world having visited 33 countries and conducting business in 45 countries and visit 5 of the 7 continents’.
